I am having a problem with the "Check Engine" light NOT coming on when first started. The light is supposed to come on & stay on for a few moments then go off. I have changed the bulb & checked the bulb connection. I tested the socket with a light tester and it lit up? not sure if this is normal... the service manual says that there are 2 relays or modules that control the CEL. I found the overide relay (H5D emissions) but can not find the main relay which should have 5 wires connected to it. can someone please help as I live in California & this needs to work in order to pass smog check.
