Need to know where i can get parts for a mor-flo water heater. i believe that my heating element or the thermostat has gone out. when we first bought the house the water used to get so hot that you had to watch it when you washed the dishes because it would get so hot. now the hot water runs out so quick that you can't take 2 showers in a row because it is nothing but cold water when you take the second one. i have asked around and nobody seems to have parts for it.
Water Elements and Thermostats are available at either Home depot and Lowes
just match up the part number of the element and wattage--same thing with the Thermastat if you think it might be bad too--Normally the bottom element goes first--which is why you run out of Hot water

Looking for an Emergency Safety cut off switch fro MOR-Flo/American Gas water heater. Model # SMIITW40S5CX10, serial # KG1886246 LP GAS. Where could this be found?
How do i know if its a screw type or bolt on peice is there anyway of just giving the serial number and going from there or do i have to take it apart and take into the store?
On the Mor-Flo water heater, where is the anode rod located? I need to replace. Hot water smells bad.
Do I replace it where the drain plug is?
Does it remove from the rear of Hot water heater?
