I have a 2001 Monaco Dynasty motorhome with2 Duo-Therm roof a/cs that are controlled by 5 button Comfort Control thermastats. Is there any 'anticapation' controls to tighten up the on/off temp range to reduce the wide temp swings?? The thermastats also control the Aqua Hot furnace and the a/c heat pumps.
Morris - On the 5 button upper board there is a dip switch (#6)marked Differential. The on-off difference is preset in the electronics and the #6 switch will shorten the on-off period reducing the swing. Be careful when accessing the board - trip the breaker to kill the 120 volts. Don't use anything metallic to trip the switch.
Also, you should also stagger zone 1 and zone 2 temps approx 7 degrees so airs will not cycle at the same time when the coach ambient temp becomes the same
I had a new duo therm heat pump installed on my 2000 dynasty and I have a problem I think they made a mistake or there is a problem in the electronics.. now keep in mind the rear heat pump was not touched and was working fine. Heres whats happening the front a/c works for about 5 hours then the compressor shuts down the fan keeps running and the compressor will not come back on for at least another 5 hours but heres the funny thing the same thing happens to the rear heat pump. Also the comfort controll doesnt sho the word FURNACE anymore. thanks bill
