I need a fuse box diagram for a 2002 ford explorer. I believe the fuse for my windows has blown out. They wont roll up or down. They are stuck and the radio wont work.
First place to check is your owner's manual, but it is just as easy to test all the fuses with a test light.
Ground the clip of a test light to bare matal and turn the ignition key to "Run" (one click before the engine cranks). Touch both sides of each fuse in the under dash fuse box and the test light should light. there is test access in each fuse for this. If you find a fuse that lights on one side and not on the other, you've found a blown fuse. Keep in mind that some fuses (like the headlight fuses) will not have power on either end until they are switched on.
Typically, the power window fuse and the accessory fuse (Which powers the radio and dome light and cig lighter) are seperate; also, the power window fuse may be in the underhood fuse box. This may be a case of multiple bad fuses.
I have 2007 model rio, recently the window glasses of the front and rear doors (all four of them) does not move up or down and wont work. as i checked, there is one " window power " and other "fuse" named as "relay" in the fuse box as shown in the owner's manual, both of which is related to the window movement. how can i check which one of them is in a sound condition and the other needs to be replaced.
Thanks for your guidence.
