Not gettng gas. with lines loose it will spit gas every now and then. rebuilt the carb. can't find the fuel pump? tank selector has six lines, but won't give gas from either tank? any ideas?
Each tank contains a pump, the selector valve changes the passage of the fuel from each tank as well as the fuel level sending unit feed to the gas gauge. Power to the pump in the selected tank must also be supplied. In order for the pump to recieve power, there must be oil pressure in the engine. There is a switch, closed by oil presure located on the bell housing at the rear at about 2 o'clock as viewed from the rear. The sending unit for the oil pressure dash gauge is also located there.
