Can't locate my freshwater tank & pump Lee 6-30-08
I recently bought a 1997 El Dorado 31 ft Class C Motorhome built on a Ford chasis, and I'm having trouble locating where my fresh water tank drain plug and water pump are located. When I turn on the water pump, I can hear it running in the vicinity of the right rear wheel well, but I'm unable to locate how to get to it. Right now I'm not getting any water pumping from the fresh water tank, and I need to find out where the fresh water tank drain is located so I can empty the water that I've put in the tank already. When I crawled under the motorhome to find the tank, all I could see was a fuel tank for the gas generator, a fuel tank for the diesel engine, and a hydraulic tank for the after-market leveling system that was added. Any help with these two issues would be greatly apreciated.

On the left side of your R/V is a place where you can fill the tank from a hose.
It may be marked "Water, Potable Water", or something like that.
To find the tank drain you will need to look under the rig. If you are unable to do that use a mirror to scan the belly of your R/V.

You have a rear bed? if so Lift the pad and you will find a plywood platform. A hatch cover or door will be found there. Under it is the drains, and the pump. You will also find the fresh water tank there.
