I own a 2006 Fleetwood 31' Tioga Class C and recently had the onboard propane tank refilled for the first time since we purchased it. We keep the RV at a campground and did not use it for about 2 weeks after the refill. When I checked the propane level on the inside control panel, it showed that the tank was low. There was no propane smell or alarm sounding inside the rv. The outside tank gauge also showed a low level. Any ideas? Thanks!
It may not ne tight at the connection of the bottle.
Did you turn off the valve at the tank when you left it? You probably have a leak.
I would check all the fittings at the tank- mix 10 parts water to 1 part dish soap, use a brush and brush the connections (with the valve on). Look for the water/soap mixture to bubble at the joints. You may have a slow leak that you cannot smell. It also could be a regulator leak or somewhere else.
Also- When not is use, turn it off at the tank every time-
