I HAVE PLAY WHERE THE DRIVE SHAFT CONNECTS TO THE TRANSMISSION, AND IT IS CAUSING VIBRATION. IS THERE A BEARING I CAN REPLACE AT THE END OF THE TRANSMISSON EXTENSION, AND HOW CAN IT BE DONE?
Unfortunately, the tailshaft housing uses a plain bearing, which means that the housing needs to be replaced to replace the bearing.
You will also need to replace the yoke at the front of the driveshaft as well as the U-joint for the yoke and you will need to make sure the other U-joint(s) are ok.
