Transmissions are standardized, so if the 5 speed in question is the same make and model for both engines, then it's the same transmission. The only potential differences are the gear ratios and the bellhousing if the bell housing is removable. If the transmission bolts to the bellhousing, then you will need to have the correct bellhousing for the engine you want to use.
