Hooking up bateries in RV Jason 5-31-08
I picked up a 78 Pace Arrow with 440 in it. The guy I got it from says it all works but it had no batteries in it when I got it. Need to know how to hook up the batteries. More wires than I know what to do with. The guy "forgot" what goes where. HELP!!!

Give me a fax number and i can fax you a basic wiring diagram. It probably needs three batteries to run that beastie. They should ALL BE THE SAME SIZE, TYPE and COLD CRANKING AMPS. Negative to negative, positive to positive. Most people overlook simple things like the battery connections being clean and without corrosion. Always CONNECT batteries positive first THEN negative. DISCONNECT in the reverse. Disconnect the negative THEN the positive. When reconnecting connect the POSITIVE FIRST. Cover the battery termingals with a balloon or condom so they dont accidently touch anything while you're working. Tape or an old sock also works. When replying to the email address put your "RE:" in the subject cause i get alot of spam.
