I have a 94 ford M/H,460,56,000mi,runs ok from cold,but if I turn off after driving on freeway at rest stop and start again,runs crappy w/black exhaust smoke as if a choke is on and fuel econemy bad,also when eccelerating it pulses like running out of fuel. Ford replaced fuel pump at 30,000 mile for the same problem and ran fine. At about 54,000 this problem started again.Is this common to have pump go or is there something causing it? I,ve done all the usual stuff,fuel filter,plugs,wires,some emission parts etc.Thanks Larry
Was the EGR or EVP a part of the replacement parts on the emission work? Please check out this site, it has helped me alot with my 460 Ford.
