I have y sa 90 bounder conveter is brand new. manual says i should have 6 volt batteries. 12 volt in the coach now. when i run the generator i thought it shoul charge batterys it does not. some one told me to plug 110 power cord into coach while generator is running this is how you charge this does not seem to work and does not seem right. only way to charge is run jumper cables from house batterys to engine battery this works or to hook up battery charger at 110 service off coach while generator is running. neither way seems right would like to know the right way or suggestions.any info would be greatly appreciatd thank you
There should be a 6 or 8 guage cable from the last of two or three batteries that runs directly from the positive terminal to the generator. That (based on what you've said here) seems like the problem. Not sure what you're referring to when you say 90 Bounder 'converter'. Usually the generator is for running your auxillary components; roof mounted A/C, house lights, tv, fold out bed etc.
