If the compressor is running??? and the ac is not cooling, then your condensor coil may be dirty. You can easily determine this on a coleman rooftop AC unit but looking at the condensor on the back of the ac. If it is dirty then take a water hose and hose it out (you will be surprised at the amount of dirt that can accumalate in these). Be sure not to use high pressure as this will smash the fins flat. Does it cool better at night? This is usually a good indication that it is dirty. |
