Slide 2002 expedition Mark 5-7-08
The livingroom slide on our 2002 expedition failed to work. I discovered one of the house 6v batt cable disconnected. Low voltage to the slide motor caused it to fail? I thought it was slow or sluggish last time it worked. thoughts?
Re: slide 2002 expedition BUBBA THE BUS TECH 5-7-08
Very posible to over load and damage an electric motor by delivering low voltage to it. But the six volts should provide no power if one is disconected. Driving the slide on the converter will cause a converter over load and low voltage to the slide motor, again stressing it. Good Luck
