I recently aquired a 1978 31' Coachman 5th wheel. It is in great shape except for both holding tanks are cracked and leak profusely. Can any one offer any advice as to where I can find the replacement tanks? I need to get this fixed pretty quick as I am living in the unit until I finish my house. Please help.
Hi Earl, Do a web search for rv holding tanks. There are many places to buy them. The companies will explain what measurments and info they will need so you get the correct tanks. Good luck!
Earl, you could also try getting yourself a product called EternaBond and use it on the cracks on the tanks. This stuff sticks and NEVER lets go. It's not cheap though (about $34 for 10 feet) but its cheaper then replacing the whole thing.
Earl, I had the same problem a few yrs back, until I found a guy in our area who plastic welded the weird tank we had. Cost was not out of line but cheaper than a new tank IF I could find one! Thanks Jack
