2000 Ford Taurus Sedan: Driver seat-power seat-inoperable... by David

I have a 2000 Ford Taurus Sedan, and the power seat does not work since before the winter. I would like to know if there are any simple ideas to try before I rip the entire seat out, to save me extra time and work if not necessary. Any ideas??? Thank, I also had a no heat issue with this car, but reversed the heater core lines, flushed out all old antifreeze and replaced with brand spankin' new stuff... now it is piping hot!!!
