Onan 5500 generator not running smoothly Jesse Coonrod 4-1-08  
I have a 1998 Bounder Motorhome the Onan5500 generator will not run smoothly it just surges. I have changed the spark plugs and cleaned the carburtor did not help.

Try the fuel filter..under the fuel pump
